Robert McDonald

My name is Robert, and I am a Copywriter at Iventions. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, I have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Visual Media. Although I had dreamed of moving to Barcelona after my initial visit in 2011, it took me until 2021 to make that dream a reality. The city's colours, architecture, beaches, hills and pan con tomate drew me in, and it continues to inspire and fascinate me to this day.

I have been honing my skills as a copywriter since 2013, starting just one week after completing my final exams in university. For nine years, I had the privilege of growing and perfecting my craft at Tile Merchant. During my time there, the business evolved from a small wholesale company to become the leading surfaces company in Ireland, boasting retail outlets and a highly successful e-commerce website. Throughout this journey, my passion has always been in creating compelling copy that not only converts but also engages and inspires.

Joining Iventions has been an incredible experience for me, as it has allowed me to be part of a truly international team consisting of people from all over the world. Witnessing the professionalism and synchronicity with which the Iventions team operates has been both inspiring and humbling. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with clients, helping to bring their stories and ideas into narratives that come to life.
