Picanol at ITMA ASIA and CITME

Shanghai

Outline

We developed and built the Picanol stand for one of the world’s largest industrial textile shows, the combined ITMA ASIA and CITME event in Shanghai.

Case

Taking place every 2 years, ITMA ASIA + CITME is all about showcasing cutting-edge solutions for textile makers. It is the best place for knitwear manufacturers to see the latest trends and upcoming innovations in technology. With more than 100,000 visitors from all sectors of the global textile industry and 170,000 sqm of exhibition space, the show is worth the visit.

For Picanol it is the opportunity to present itself as “the textile specialist”, showcasing efficient manufacturing techniques with their technical support team, and machines running non-stop and at full speed. To meet with their worldwide customers and continue building relationships with them, Picanol needed to put its best foot forward – this is when we stepped in. We developed a stand design focused on the products to captivate and attract numerous visitors.

Picanol, worldwide leader in textile machinery entrusted us with the construction of their stand

Work process

For this major textile industry event our aim was to make Picanol’s stand an experience, not just a place for people to walk past. Interaction and product demonstration is key when it comes to showcasing innovation and modernity. Building a trade fair stand from scratch can be intense. Doing it with multiple authorities and regulations can be even more complex. That said, we took the pain out of creating the Picanol stand, saving them the time and effort of such undertaking.

To create this immersive and interactive environment, we focused on a clean and open stand design where the machinery would be the centre of attention. By combining this design with eye-catching and illuminated logos, LED screens and large branded surfaces, we turned this 600 sqm booth into the most visible one. The Picanol stand at ITMA-CITME 2021 was a hit with visitors, and there wasn’t a single problem thanks to our team’s expert fair building experience.

Productivity is the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.
